Our History

Wheelhouse alloys was formed when brothers James and Adam Lambert saw an opportunity to work together by bringing together all their collective experience in the automotive industry along with the business experience of other family members. James Lambert has worked with cars all his adult life and in particular in the alloy wheel refurbishment sector for the last 10 years. As a car enthusiast with an eye for detail, James was looking to work with people who shared his values and passion. Adam has similarly worked in the car industry for many years, along with stints in the British Army and as an e commerce business manager. Adams managment and military training was the perfect addition to James' experience, skill and knowledge. Both Ipswich born and bred - so setting up in Ipswich in order to serve Suffolk and North Essex was an easy decision. Once suitable premises were found the dream could take shape.

Our Experience

Having worked in the alloy wheel refurbishment business for 10 years James has all the skills required to provide a complete service from wheel repair and preparation to powder coating, paint spraying and diamond cutting. Adam has worked within the retail and commercial tyre sectors for many years as well as his management and military experience. This will enable him to manage the workshop as well as organising the staff in order to deliver a premium service.

Our Mission

We aim to provide the best alloy wheel refurbishment service in the Ipswich and Suffolk area - best quality, best value, best service. Along with our experieince and passion we will invest in the most up to date equipment, techniques and materials. This will allow us to deliver quality craftsmanship and value for money. Our management and organisation will allow us to deliver excellent customer service and rapid turnaround times.
