At Wheelhouse Alloys in Ipswich we also refurbish split rim wheels. Split rims vary enormously in their design and complexity, therefore we would need to assess the wheels in order to discuss repair options and costs. Inevitably split rim refurbishment involves alot of manual labour and time. The wheels must be dismantled, the components cleaned and assessed, followed by paint stripping, sourcing new components, powder coating and painting, rebuilding and sealing etc. Not every Split rim can be refurbished in a cost effective way but we are happy to assess them and discuss the options.
